About the Band
We love the music we play.
When we create some music which we feel is fun, we release it on an album for others to enjoy.
That’s it really.
The story of our odd name
All the other names we searched for had already been taken.
Jokingly (and weary from our search) ‘Cud Chewing Cows’ was suggested.
We laughed and for kicks did a Google Search.
The results showed no band names matching that.
And so, ‘Cud Chewing Cows’ (the band), was born.
Admittedly, our name is misleading as our music has little or nothing to do with cud, nor chewing nor cows.
Nonetheless we embraced our new-found name and furthered the concept by adding song titles, album titles, artwork and band member names which all bore that ‘cow’ theme.
In that spirit we’ve enjoyed being the ‘Cud Chewing Cows’.
Aside from our Albums featured on this website, we have also contributed music for several Space Viz motion pictures.
We hope you enjoy listening to our varied styles of music repeatedly and loudly!
